:: Allover covered Herati design motif with very old early wide banded main border in intricate vinery, wrapped by minor serpent and starburst border. Colors and shades include: Powder sky blue, burgundy, faded lime green, blush, madder root red, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. The carpet has multiple areas of restoration, reweave, and possible reduction. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Fereghan carpet made in Persia circa 1870's vintage. Size measures 5' x 9'5".
